Three things follow from that.
Stairs and no elevator add real time. A two-bedroom flat on a third floor with no lift is not the same booking as the identical flat at ground level: the cleaner carries a vacuum, mop, bucket and supplies up on arrival and cleaning materials get moved between floors during the visit. Tell us the floor number and whether there is a lift, and we add the time it needs rather than have the cleaner run short at the end.
High ceilings and cornices are part of the job, not an extra. Many Jabal Amman apartments have ceilings well above the standard height, with decorative cornices and older light fittings that collect dust a normal reach cannot manage. Dusting these properly, with the right tools, takes longer than in a modern flat with an average-height ceiling — factor in extra time if the home has not had this done recently.
Old stone and tile need gentler handling. Heritage houses and older apartment blocks often have original stone floors, old ceramic tile or worn grout lines that a harsh product can damage rather than clean. Access, parking and timing in Jabal Amman
Parking is genuinely difficult in Jabal Amman: narrow streets, no dedicated building parking in most cases, and heavy traffic around Rainbow Street in the evening.
