5 JOD per hour per worker (minimum 4 hours). Shown before you confirm. No hidden fees.

If you live in Khalda and want a cleaner who comes to your building, this is the page for you. Vetting, rate and booking flow are identical to the main house cleaning in Amman page. What changes is the kind of home: Khalda is mostly two- and three-bedroom family flats, and the right number of hours for one of those is a smaller, more predictable question than it is for a villa.

What is different about cleaning a home in Khalda

Khalda sits in north-west Amman around Khalda Circle, and its housing is dominated by mid-rise buildings of four to six floors. The typical home is a flat of two or three bedrooms with a family in it; villas exist, but only on a few side streets. Three things follow from that.

The four-hour minimum is a genuine fit. In much of West Amman the minimum booking is a floor you always exceed. In Khalda it is often exactly the right length: one cleaner can dust, vacuum and mop a two-bedroom flat and do its kitchen and bathroom in four hours. Add a third bedroom, a second bathroom or a lot of children's belongings and five hours is the safer choice, so the last room does not get rushed.

Family flats are lived in hard. A home with school-age children produces a specific kind of work: crumbs and fingerprints in the kitchen, toys and clothes that have to be picked up before a floor can be mopped, and bathrooms used by four or five people every morning. Fifteen minutes of tidying before the cleaner arrives, or a note in the booking that tidying is part of the job, decides how much actual cleaning fits into the hours you pay for.

Short and often beats long and rare. For a busy household the arithmetic favours a four-hour visit every week over a long one every couple of months. A flat cleaned seven days ago needs four hours; the same flat after a school term of packed lunches and football kit needs a deep clean, which is a different service at a different price. Weekly or fortnightly is what we recommend for a family flat.

How much does house cleaning cost in Khalda?

There is no Khalda surcharge: 5 JOD per hour per cleaner, minimum four hours, paid in cash or by CliQ once the visit is over. Calculated from that rate — not a quote — this is what typical Khalda homes come to:

Home Cleaners Hours Cost
Two-bedroom flat, one bathroom 1 4 25 JOD
Two-bedroom flat, family with children 1 4–5 25–30 JOD
Three-bedroom flat, two bathrooms 1 5–6 30–35 JOD
Villa on a side street 2 4–5 each 50–60 JOD

If your flat has a maid's room, a large balcony or a second living room, mention it and we will suggest the hours before you pay for anything.

What is included

A Khalda visit is the same standard visit as the rest of Amman: floors swept, vacuumed and mopped in every room; kitchen counters and hob degreased and the dishes done; bathrooms scrubbed and sanitised; mirrors and inside glass wiped; the flat tidied at the end. Bed linen can be changed if you mention it when booking. The complete room-by-room checklist is on the house cleaning page.

Not included: the inside of the oven and cupboards, the space behind the fridge and washing machine, and grout — book deep cleaning in Khalda for those. Upholstery and rugs need extraction equipment: see sofa cleaning in Khalda. We do not arrange exterior window or facade cleaning.

Access, parking and timing in Khalda

Many Khalda buildings have a doorman, but not all of them. If yours does, a key left with him and his name in the booking notes is enough. If yours does not, someone needs to be home to open the door, or you can arrange a handover with a neighbour and tell us in the notes. Newer buildings have elevators; if yours is a walk-up, add the floor number so the cleaner knows what to expect.

Street parking is usually available on the residential streets, and the main roads through Khalda are busy rather than blocked, so reaching your building is straightforward. For a family flat, the easiest slot is a weekday morning while the children are at school: a four- or five-hour visit that starts mid-morning is finished before the afternoon pick-up. Evening slots suit households where everyone is out during the day. Book weekend mornings a few days ahead.

Recurring cleaning in Khalda

A family flat rewards a standing booking more than a one-off does. A cleaner who comes every week at the same hour keeps the kitchen and bathrooms at a level a monthly visit never reaches, and you stop explaining where things go. If you want the same person each time on a fixed schedule, book maid service; the hourly rate is unchanged. Skipping a week for travel or Eid is fine with reasonable notice, and the schedule picks up again afterwards.
