Strip and inspect
Bedding comes off and the technician checks the mattress type, any existing damage, and marks that need individual treatment. Have the bed stripped before arrival if you can, as it saves time on the visit.
Deep vacuuming
The surface, seams, buttons and edges are vacuumed thoroughly. Seams hold the most and are the part a household vacuum never properly reaches.
Treatment
A solution suited to the mattress is applied and worked in, so it reaches the padding rather than sitting on the ticking. Stains are treated individually.
Extraction
Everything lifted is drawn back out. Controlled moisture matters here. A mattress must not be soaked, because the inside cannot dry quickly and damp foam is a far worse problem than the one you started with.

How long before the bed can be used?
Four to six hours typically, depending on the mattress and the ventilation in the room. Book a morning slot and the bed is usually ready by night.
Leave it uncovered while it dries and open the window. Do not put a mattress protector or fitted sheet back on until it is completely dry. Sealing in residual moisture is the one mistake that causes problems afterwards.
How often should a mattress be cleaned?
