Homi does not sell window cleaning as a separate service. Windows are cleaned as part of Homi's house cleaning service or a deep clean in Amman. If you are looking to get the glass in your home done, you book a clean and tell us that windows are a priority.
How windows are handled during a clean
Interior glass, mirrors, and the frames and sills within reach are part of a normal cleaning visit. The cleaner works through them alongside everything else in the room rather than treating them as a separate exercise.
On a deep clean the treatment goes further, because a deep clean works methodically through the whole property. Frames, sills and the tracks that sliding windows run in get proper attention there, along with everything else that a weekly clean skips.
Either way, say at the start of the visit that windows matter to you. A cleaner has a fixed number of hours and will spread them across the home unless told what to prioritise.
What we do not offer
Being direct about this, because it is the reason many people land on this page: we do not provide specialist exterior window cleaning. That means no facade work, no high-rise or rope access, no ladder work at height, and no external glass on upper floors.
That is a different trade with different equipment, insurance and safety requirements, and it is not something Homi arranges. If that is what you need, you are looking for a specialist window-cleaning company rather than a home-cleaning service.
What we can do is the glass you can safely reach from inside the property, which for most apartments is the large majority of it.
General clean or deep clean?
If the glass is simply dusty and you want it done along with the rest of the house, a general clean covers it. This is the right choice for routine upkeep.
If the windows have not been touched in a long time, if there is built-up grime in the tracks and corners, or if there has been building or painting work in the property, book a deep clean. Windows after construction work are a particular case: fine dust bonds to glass and needs a more thorough approach than a wipe with a cloth.
Allowing enough time
Windows take longer than people expect. A single large sliding door with its frame and track can absorb the best part of an hour if it is done properly.
If you have a lot of glass and you want it all done in one visit, book additional hours rather than hoping it fits. Tell us roughly how many windows you have when booking and we will suggest a realistic length. That is a far better outcome than a cleaner running out of time with half the house untouched.
Amman dust and how often to do it
Windows here do not stay clean for long. Dust settles constantly, and after a khamsin the glass can look untouched within a day of being cleaned. That is the climate, not the cleaning.
Most homes find that including windows in a clean every month or two is enough to keep them clear, with a more thorough pass during a deep clean once or twice a year. Cleaning glass more often than that in this city tends to be effort that the weather immediately undoes.
One practical note: glass dries fastest and streaks least when it is not in direct sun. A morning slot on a shaded side of the building gives a better finish than midday.
What cleaning will not fix
Some marks are not dirt. Hard water running down glass from an air conditioning unit or a leaking frame leaves mineral deposits that etch into the surface over time. Once the glass itself is etched, no amount of cleaning restores it. It will look better, but the marks stay.
The same applies to scratches, and to the cloudiness that appears between the panes of a double-glazed unit. That cloudiness means the seal has failed and moisture is trapped inside the unit, which is a glazing repair rather than a cleaning problem.
If you point these out at the start of the visit you will get an honest answer about what will and will not improve, rather than an expectation that goes unmet.

Choose house cleaning, set the hours, and mention windows as a priority. If the glass has been neglected for a long time or there has been construction work, book a deep clean instead.
