Villa cleaning is part of Homi's house cleaning service in Amman, sized for large multi-floor houses rather than flats. The difference is not only floor area. It is stairs, repetition and the number of separate rooms that each need finishing.
Why a villa is a different job from a flat
In a flat, a cleaner works in one continuous space and carries equipment once. In a villa, the same work is spread across two, three or four levels, and every bucket, vacuum and set of cloths moves up and down the stairs repeatedly. That carrying is real time, and it is time that produces nothing visible.
Landings and long corridors add surface that nobody mentions when describing the house. So do the doors, since a villa has a lot of door faces and frames, all of them showing handprints.
An apartment clean is planned by counting rooms. A villa has to be planned by counting floors, bathrooms and access points as well.
Why we send a team rather than one cleaner
One person in a large villa produces a poor result inside any sensible visit length. They will either rush every room or finish two floors properly and leave the third untouched. Neither is what you booked.
So a villa visit is normally staffed by two or three cleaners working at the same time, and the visit is split by zone rather than by task. One person takes the bathrooms on the upper floor, another the bedrooms, a third the ground floor and kitchen. Nobody is working over anybody else, nobody is waiting for a floor to dry that someone else needs to walk across, and the whole house finishes at roughly the same moment.
Walkthrough
The team lead walks the villa with whoever runs the household, floor by floor, and agrees what is included, what is skipped and where the priorities sit.
Zone split
Each cleaner is assigned floors and rooms. Equipment is staged on each level so it is not carried up and down all afternoon.
Work in parallel
Bathrooms and the kitchen start first because they take longest and need dwell time. Bedrooms and reception rooms follow.
Final pass
Stairs, banisters and stairwell glass are done last, then the team walks the house again with you before leaving.
Bathrooms are the dominant workload
Four, five or more bathrooms is normal in a villa, and bathrooms take longer than any other room per square metre. They set the length of the visit more than the bedrooms do.
Tell us the true number when you book, including guest cloakrooms, the maid's bathroom and any bathroom attached to a basement or majlis. An underestimate here is the single most common reason a villa visit runs short. Detail on what each one involves is on the bathroom cleaning page.
Formal reception rooms versus family rooms
Most villas have rooms used once a month and rooms used constantly, and they need opposite treatment. A formal salon that sits closed most of the time mainly needs dust removed from surfaces, frames, lamp shades, skirting and the floor, and very little else.
The family sitting room, by contrast, is where the actual soiling is. So is the kitchen. Splitting the house this way lets the team spend the hours where they change something rather than distributing them evenly out of fairness.
If the villa has a service kitchen as well as a main one, say so at booking. Two kitchens is close to two rooms of work, and the service kitchen is usually the dirtier of the pair.
Staircases, basements and majlis
Staircases carry more traffic than any other surface in the house. Treads, risers, banisters, spindles and the handrail are all cleaned, and the tall glass on a stairwell is done as far as it can be safely reached from inside.
Basements, storage rooms and the majlis are included if you want them, but they should be named at booking rather than assumed. A storage room full of boxes is not cleaned around silently. We will agree what happens to it before the visit.
Terraces, garden furniture and outside glass
An indoor cleaning visit has a boundary and it is worth being clear about it. Terraces are swept and washed down, and outdoor tables and seating are wiped. Glass is cleaned from the inside only.
Not included: garden work, pool water, exterior or facade glass, and anything needing ladders or work at height.
Access, household staff and scheduling
Villa addresses in Abdoun, Dabouq and Deir Ghbar often mean a gate, an intercom and a driver or guard who has to let the team in. Send the gate instructions and a parking note with the booking, because a team of three arriving with equipment cannot circle the street.
If you already have household staff, a gardener or pool maintenance, schedule around them. Cleaning while the gardener runs a blower outside the open terrace doors wastes the visit.
We cover all of Amman, including Abdoun, Dabouq, Khalda, Deir Ghbar, Shmeisani, Tla' Al Ali, Jubeiha and Sweileh.
Whole villa in one visit, or floors in rotation
Both work. A one-off or occasional clean should do the whole house in a single visit. For regular cleaning, many households rotate: bedrooms and upper bathrooms one week, ground floor and reception the next, with the kitchen and family bathrooms done every time. That keeps each visit shorter and the house consistently in order.
If the villa has not had a proper clean in a long time, start with a deep cleaning visit and put the regular schedule on top of it afterwards. Sofas, carpets and mattresses are furniture cleaning and are booked separately.
